Rainy is from Port Elgin NB, but was recently living in St. John’s, Newfoundland! She has moved back home from NFLD and has become a volunteer firefighter in Port Elgin. She takes pride in safety, community outreach, and teamwork.

Dr. Jessica "Match" Parker

I have had a lifelong love of the beach and the outdoors and so TaWaSi has been special to me since day one. I volunteered and worked there during my teen years and have maintained my connection to the place and the people ever since. My own children have also fallen in love with Ta Wa Si and I'm so happy that our family continues to have a connection with this special place.

I am delighted to be helping with the continued growth of Camp Ta Wa Si as a board member. I continue to be a person who loves the outdoors, camping, and creating. I am a mother of 2 wonderful children and I work as a child psychologist. I am deeply passionate about the important experiences that children can gain through camp and I am grateful to continue to be a part of the Ta Wa Si Community.

Angus "Vulcan" Marcoux

I have spent several years at Camp Ta-Wa-Si in the past, both as camper and CIT, and I have always treasured the memories, the people and the welcoming and fun environment that Ta-Wa-Si provides to its campers and staff. I always looked forward to the summer when I would return to new and old faces at camp for the week to enjoy activities, nature and friendships that I still cherish to this day.

Following my time at camp, I pursued post-secondary education and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am currently pursuing legal studies and will be graduating from the Université de Moncton Juris Doctor program in 2027. In my free time, I enjoy learning about history and the world, walking in nature, playing sports, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am thrilled to be able to return to Ta-Wa-Si on the Board of Directors and help to continue to make this an amazing place for everyone to experience and enjoy.
